Cine Club Colombo Talks: Women’s History & Empowerment Month
Únete a nuestra celebración de Women’s History & Empowerment Month! En nuestro #CineclubColomboTalks tendremos un encuentro con la ilustradora y animadora Juliana Erazo, quien a partir de su trabajo creativo promueve el empoderamiento femenino y la equidad social.
Juliana Erazo es una artista visual colombiana y maestra en animación del Instituto Máster de Culturas Audiovisuales MIVC de países bajos.
Trabaja hace 5 años como animadora e ilustradora en diversos campos comerciales e independientes, generando junto a diferentes agencias contenidos animados para empresas como Google, Youtube, Abbot, Fifa. Desde el 2017 se desempeña como asistente de dirección del Festival Internacional de Animación La Truca.
En el 2020 fue directora de arte para la serie documental animada sobre violencias hacia las mujeres titulada «Médulas: Sanando de Raíz», realizada por la productora Dieciséis Nueve dirigida por Lola Barreto para Canal Capital, que será estrenada en mayo de este año.
Con su cortometraje de grado “El Dolor de mi Madre” da inicio a su carrera en la animación documental, utilizando una técnica experimental de animación híbrida y metáforas audiovisuales. Con este cortometraje fue ganadora del programa de desarrollo de talentos Next Program, en Países Bajos, mediante el cual actualmente desarrolla su primera serie documental donde continúa explorando temáticas como el empoderamiento femenino y la equidad social, inspirada por las diversas historias de resiliencia que merecen ser contadas.
